What drives Fashionwheels?
Fashionwheels was established in 1996 in Helmond, the "textile city" of the Netherlands. The founders have years of experience in the clothing retail industry, international fashion transport, clothing distribution, fashion warehousing and finance. After only three years of operation, the first distribution centre was opened, with a floor area of 7,500 m2. Steady growth, coupled with increased demand for high-quality services, led to a doubling of capacity in 2002. By 2008, Fashionwheels had expanded even further, with over 50,000 m2 of fashion warehouse space in Helmond, an exclusive pan-European partner network and agencies all over the world. By the summer of 2010, capacity had increased to 35,000 m2 advanced storage for garments on hanger and 40,000 m2 for flat-packed garments, shoes and accessories.
